Somis Sound studios and the Somis Sound record label was founded in 2001. Artist and producer Erik Ryan Richards founded the label and built the studio after years of working in Los Angeles and local recording Studios. The idea was to have a homebase with an organic sound that could be inspired outside of the city, and in beautiful Somis California. Erik has produced and worked with many different artists, including Beck, Peter DiStefano, Rupert Greenall (The FIXX), Rossangeles, Overground, The Slider, and many more. He continues creating new music and producing artists to this day.
